Paint booth lighting must be explosion-proof (Class I, Division 1) or located outside the hazardous area. Adequate light levels and good color rendering are essential for quality work.
Lighting Options
LED lighting offers energy savings, long life, and excellent color rendering. Upgrades from fluorescent to LED often pay back quickly.
Color Temperature Matters
5000-6500K (daylight) color temperature is best for color matching in paint booths.
